Three-year monitoring study of pesticide dissipation in pears
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The fate of 17 pesticides after treatment in the pear orchard during the three-year experiment was studied. Mathematical models with significant values of the coefficient of determination were developed for 11 of the 17 pesticides included in this study. The calculated mean dissipation half-lives ranged from 3.3 to 54.1 days. Pyrimethanil showed the highest rate of pesticide dissipation while acetamiprid showed the lowest rate. For most of the active ingredients investigated in this study, a shorter action pre-harvest interval than mandatory pre-harvest interval was necessary to meet the requirements of low-residue pear production (i.e., 30% of the maximum residue levels). However, for zero-residue production, an extension of the pre-harvest intervals is required for most pesticides, except for difenoconazole, kresoxim-methyl, and pyriproxyfen. At harvest time, residue concentrations of 7 pesticides were found to be below a level of 0.01 mg x kg-1 .
