Thirty-two Hyla 2000 rabbits, 42 days of age at the beginning of experiment, were used to evaluate the effect of restriction of time of feeding on digestibility of nutrients.Rabbits were divided among 4 groups and fed a comercial granulated feed. Controlrabbits hat a free acCESs to the feed,other rabbits were fed ad libitum from 08.00 to 14.00. The duration of the restriction of time of feeding was 2, 3 and 4 weeks in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th group of rabbits, respectively. The experiment lasted forImprovement in digestibility of nutrients, however, ceased within several days after the end of the restriction of time of feeding. Average daily weight gains were improved in treated groups in the week following the end of restriction, but no significanNo major differenCES in carcass yield and carcass composition among groups were observed.
