Process technologies and technical solutions energy efficient storage in the Czech Republic. Joint EAPR meeting Agronomy & Physiology + Post-Harvest sections
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Technologies are new technical systems and equipment for potato storage with the aim of reducing energy consumption, storage losses and increasing yields by modifying the ventilation and storage atmosphere, modifying structural elements and mechanical and technological lines. At the same time, to reduce the overall energy consumption of potato storage in the older farm warehouses in Czech Republic. New systems of regulation and control of electric drives of ventilation, handling lines, modification of buildings by additional insulation and sealing of storage areas were designed and verified, which led to a reduction of ventilation and heat transfer. All these practices are closely related to the high energy requirements of potato storage to date, while maintaining the quality parameters of the tubers. Joint EAPR meeting Agronomy & Physiology + Post-Harvest sections. Abstract Compendium, p. 42. Villers Saint-Christophe. 2023.
