Der Aufsatz untersucht die als &quot;Sprechplastik&quot; bezeichnete Komposition &quot;Hotel zur Ewigen Lampe. Operative Vorgänge&quot; (2014) von Michael Lentz (geb. 1964). Der Satz des ehemaligen Ministers für Staatssicherheit der DDR, Erich Mielke, &quot;Aber ich liebe doch alle Menschen&quot;, wird darin im Spannungsfeld zwischen politisch brisantem Originaltondokument und klangkompositorischem Element verarbeitet. Ausgehend von einem früher erarbeiteten Ansatz zur gestalttheoretischen Analyse experimenteller Hörstücke, d.h. von auditiven Arbeiten, die weder eine Handlung aufweisen noch überhaupt eine von vornherein etablierte Hierarchie von Sprache, Stimme, Geräusch und Musik, wird das Stück mit Blick auf die Frage nach seiner Gattung analysiert. Es geht dabei zunächst einmal um auditive Hierarchien von Figur und Grund und um die Abgrenzbarkeit auditiver Einheiten. Vor diesem Hintergrund wird festgestellt, dass, ungeachtet der politischen Brisanz des Originaltonfragments und seines die unfreiwillige Groteske streifenden ursprünglichen Kontexts auf ihm insgesamt eine klar in fünf Teile gegliederte klangkünstlerische Komposition aufbaut.

The essay analyses the composition &quot;Hotel zur Ewigen Lampe. Operative Vorgänge&quot; (2014) which its author Michael Lentz (b. 1964) himself calls a &quot;Sprechplastik&quot; (&apos;sculpture of speaking&apos;). The notorious utterance &quot;Aber ich liebe doch alle Menschen&quot; (&apos;But I do love all humans&apos;) by the former minister of &apos;Staatssicherheit&apos; (governmental security service, &quot;Stasi&quot;) from former GDR, Erich Mielke, is worked through in that composition exploiting the remarquable tension between a politically explosive sound document and the element of a music-like sound composition. Starting from a formerly established approach at analysing experimental auditory pieces by means of some concepts from gestalt theory, that is, at analyzing such auditory pieces which neither tell a story nor do at all establish any hierarchy between speech, voices, sounds, and music, the piece is analysed from the point of view of its possible genre. This leads to the question of auditory hierarchies of figure and ground and the possibilities of how to distinguish audible units from one another in the first place. Against this background the thesis is made up that notwithstanding the politically explosive nature of the original sound document and the involuntary grotesque of the real historical situation it has been uttered in, this sound document, after all, now serves as the basic building stone of an artistic sound composition in five clearly distinguishable parts or movements.
