يدرس البحث العناصر التراثية العمانية وكيفية توظيفها في بناء رواية }بن سولع{ للكاتب العمانيعلي المعمري الذي يحتل مقامًا مرموقًا في مجال السرد العماني الحديث. فيركز الباحث علىالعوامل الفنية والثقافية والاجتماعية التي يتكون منها هذا النص الروائي. فيتحدث كاتب الروايةعن مصير أبطاله الذين يستوحيهم من تاريخ المجتمع العماني المعاصر ويصفهم في بيئتهمالمتأثرة بكل من التقاليد الشعبية والظروف الطبيعية المتميزة. يقدم البحث طرقًا سردية يستعينبها الروائي وهو يخلق عالم بطله البديل الذي تمثله الصحراء بأهلها وحيوانها ونباتها مصحوبةبأساطير وحكايات ومعتقدات فلكلورية. فتعد تجليات الشخصيات الروائية في عوالمها الخياليةعودة لراويها إلى تراث وطنه التاريخي والثقافي الأمر الذي لا يمنعه من استخدام أساليب الفكاهةوالسخرية في معالجة تطور أحداث الرواية وتأثيرها على حياة أبطالها في عمان وخارجها. تتميزالرواية بكمية كبيرة من المعلومات التفصيلية التي تكشف للقارئ ما شهده المجتمع العماني منالتطورات الحساسة على الصعيدين السياسي والاجتماعي أثناء فترة الاستعمار وما بعدها. قد تبدوالرواية مثقلة ببعض جوانب السرد التثقيفية والوثائقية، غير أنها تساهم في دقة تصوير المشاهدالواقعية التي تمنح بنية هذا العمل الروائي قيمة جمالية عالية وتعطي خطابه السردي قدرًا كبيرًامن المصداقية.

The study explores the Omani heritage elements and its employing in the novel &quot;BenSula&apos;&quot; by the Omani writer &apos;Ali al-Ma&apos;mari, who occupies a prominent position in fieldof the modern Omani novel. The paper focuses on the artistic, cultural and social factorsthat make up this fictional text. The writer of the novel talks about the fate of his heroeswho are inspired by the history of contemporary Omani society and describe it in theirenvironment influenced by both popular traditions and natural conditions. The researchpresents narrative methods used by the novelist, as he creates the world of his alternativehero, who is represented by the desert with its people, animals and plants, accompaniedby myths, tales and folkloric beliefs. The manifestations of the fictional characters intheir imaginary worlds are considered as the narrator&apos;s return to the historical and cultural heritage of his homeland, that does not prevent him from using humor and ironyin description of the narrative events and its impact on the lives of the novel heroes inOman and abroad. The novel is characterized by a large amount of detailed informationthat reveals the sensitive testimony of the Omani society on the political and social levelduring the colonial period and beyond. The novel may seem burdened with some aspectsof the educational and documentary narration, but it contributes to the accuracy of realisticscenes giving the structure of this fictional work a high aesthetic value and as well,a great deal of the credibility.
