The Pilsen public transport depot is the largest PPP project in the Czech Republic to date and together with multi-storey-car parks in three Czech cities it is one of only a few examples of PPP in the country. It involves construction of a new facility,its maintenance and the provision of services (maintenance and repair of public transport vehicles) for 29 years. This case study follows a pre-specified structure designed by the COST Action P3T3 and provides detailed information about the Pilsen PPP project and a brief analysis and explenation of circumstances that influenced the procurement process and conditions of the final contract.
