El siguiente artículo de investigación trata el tema de la dualidad y la unidad en las secciones § 1-10 de El nacimiento de la tragedia de Nietzsche desde una perspectiva tanto metafísica como estética. La dualidad se expresa según nuestra interpretación en dos principios o momentos metafísicos que podemos rastrear desde Nietzsche hasta Schelling y Schopenhauer. Por un lado, hablamos de un principio de reglas, orden y moderación, a partir del cual emerge el mundo ordenado y racional como lo conocemos actualmente. Por el otro, encontramos un sustrato de irregularidad y caos que se ubica, por así decir, en una dimensión más profunda de la realidad y pugna por devolver sus elementos diferenciados a la unidad original de la que todo proviene. Sin embargo, ambos principios interactúan para que la realidad en su conjunto subsista así como para alcanzar, según Nietzsche, el fenómeno primordial de su plena apreciación estética. En este trabajo compararemos varios puntos de la metafísica de Nietzsche en 1872, referidos a la dualidad y la unidad, con las doctrinas metafísicas previamente defendidas por Schelling en su Freiheitsschrift (1809). Poner de manifiesto las similitudes entre la posición de Nietzsche y la de los románticos, así como con Kant y Schopenhauer constituye también un objetivo secundario nuestro. Nuestro objetivo más amplio en este como en otros trabajos por venir consiste en defender una posición metafísica que otorgue mayor preeminencia y centralidad al dualismo, y, por lo tanto, en rechazar el monismo que en la tradición se asocia con las filosofías de Spinoza y Hegel. Para alcanzar tal fin es esencial trazar la línea que va de Kant a Nietzsche, pasando por Schelling y Schopenhauer, y que aquí investigamos en dos de sus autores principales.

The following research article deals with the theme of duality and unity in sections § 1-10 of Nietzsche&apos;s The Birth of Tragedy from both a metaphysical and an aesthetic perspective. Duality is expressed according to our interpretation in two metaphysical principles or moments that we can trace from Nietzsche to Schelling and Schopenhauer. On the one hand, we speak of a principle of rules, order, and moderation, from which the orderly and rational world emerges as we know it today. On the other, we find a substrate of irregularity and chaos that is located, so to speak, in a deeper dimension of reality and struggles to return its differentiated elements to the original unity from which everything arises. However, both principles interact so that reality subsists as well as to achieve, according to Nietzsche, the primordial phenomenon of its full aesthetic appreciation. In this work we will compare various points of Nietzsche&apos;s metaphysics in 1872, referring to duality and unity, with the metaphysical doctrines previously defended by Schelling in his Freiheitsschrift (1809). To reveal the similarities between the position of Nietzsche and that of the romantics, as well as with Kant and Schopenhauer, is also a secondary objective of ours. Our broader objective in this as in other works to come is to defend a metaphysical position that gives greater prominence and centrality to dualism, and therefore to reject the monism that is traditionally associated with the philosophies of Spinoza and Hegel. To achieve this end, it is essential to draw the line that goes from Kant to Nietzsche, passing through Schelling and Schopenhauer, and that we investigate here in two of its main authors.
