Die Studie enthält die Habilitationsvorlesung auf der Husitischen Theologischen Fakultät der Karlsuniversität Prag, in welcher die Struktur der Zehn Gebote anhand des hebräischen Textes aus dem 5. Buch Mose auf synchrone Weise reflektiert wird. Die Struktur leitet sich aus der Schlüsselposition des ersten Gebotes ab, welches Gottes Handeln beschreibt und dem gegenüber die Abfassung der anderen Gebote eine Feststellung der Folgen von Gottes Wirken im Leben des Bekennenden ist. Die Zehn Gebote sind ein theologischer, kein ethischer Text.

The study represents a habilitation lecture delivered at the Hussite Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague, in which the author reflected on the Decalogue structure based on the Hebrew text of the Fifth Book of Moses using the synchronous method. The structure is based on the key position of the first commandment, which describes the Lord's actions, in respect of which the formulations of the remaining commandments represent declarations of consequences of the Lord's works in the confessor's life. The Decalogue is a theologic rather than ethical piece of text.
