The chapter of the monograph outlines the general features and developments of the Utraquist liturgy in the early decades of the Bohemian Reformation. It successively deals with the renewal of the frequent communion and lay chalice of the all baptized, with the gradual vernacularization of liturgical texts, with the reform of the daily office and introduction of the new feast into the calendar. It is attentive to the liturgical music and vernacular song, as well as the southern Bohemian radicalism with its pilgrimages to mountains and the Taborite liturgy. Finally, it summarizes the history of the relevant research and points to possible research directions in the future.
