En la actualidad el uso masivo de redes sociales afecta de manera significativa a las comunidades educativas, especialmente a los estudiantes de los grados sexto a once, quienes se encuentran en etapas de la pubertad y la adolescencia, caracterizadas por una búsqueda importante de aceptación y reconocimiento y encuentran en este tipo de medios la forma más indicada para hacerlo. Se estima que la población colombiana que utiliza redes sociales es de aproximadamente 39 millones de personas, según datos del portal We Find You, de estos, el 6.1% son activos en redes sociales y se ubican en el segmento escolar de sexto a grado once de acuerdo con el portal Branch.com; este porcentaje ha sido fuertemente afectado por el aislamiento ocasionado por la pandemia, aumentando su proporción. Este trabajo propone el uso de algoritmos de procesamiento de lenguaje natural para estudiar las respuestas consignadas en un instrumento por parte de los estudiantes de bachillerato del Colegio Los Andes (Popayán), se buscó establecer la polaridad gramatical de sus comentarios para averiguar la afectación de los discentes ante el fenómeno de las redes sociales.

Currently, the massive use of social networks significantly affects educational communities, especially students from sixth to eleventh grades, who are in puberty and adolescence stages, characterized by a search for acceptance and recognition, finding in this type of media the most appropriate way to do it. It is estimated that the Colombian population that uses social networks is approximately 39 million people, according to data from the We Find You, of these, 6.1% are active in social networks are in the school segment from sixth to the eleventh grade of according to Branch.com; this percentage has been strongly affected by the isolation caused by the pandemic, increasing its proportion. This work proposes the use of natural language processing algorithms to study the responses recorded by an instrument in students from Los Andes high school (Popayán), seeking to establish the grammatical polarity of their comments to find out the affectation of the students before the social network phenomena.
