This bachelor's thesis focuses on the main heroine of the book series Naslouchač by Petra Stehlíková, comparing her with the protagonist of the book Říkali mi Leni by Zdeňka Bezděková and the book Tajemství obsidiánu by Petra Martišková. It aims to characterize all three characters and subsequently explore their mutual differences and similarities. The thesis also addresses young adult literature and its associated characteristics. Additionally, it defines fantasy literature with an emphasis on stereotypical heroes, aiming to determine whether the protagonist of Petra Stehlíková's book series corresponds to the typical hero of YA fantasy works.
