They outline four core principles of FST-holism, organization, feedback, and resilience-and explain how these concepts apply to family interactions in the digital age.The chapter also highlights emerging research areas, including &quot;technoference&quot; (technology disrupting family interactions), family gaming dynamics, and digital monitoring behaviors. It underscores the need for shifting the focus beyond mere &quot;screen time&quot; and calls for new research methodologies to analyze digital family interactions.
