Název v původním jazyce
"Omnes -Omnia -Omnino": Sensory Aspects in Comenius's Approaches to Learning and Teaching and the Contemporary Challenges Facing Music Education
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This article explores the pedagogical legacy of Johannes Amos Comenius (1592-1670), focusing particularly on the sensory and experiential dimensions of his educational philosophy and their relevance for contemporary music education. It examines parallels between Comenius's principles-especially his dictum Omnes - Omnia - Omnino-and the Orff-Schulwerk approach. Both emphasize active, multisensory engagement, the integration of diverse learning methods, and the creation of meaningful, inclusive educational experiences. Despite the historical gap, Comenius's vision of systematic yet creative education resonates with modern challenges, offering valuable insights into how we can nurture learners' cognitive, emotional, and personal development through music and beyond. His ideas remain a vital source of inspiration for contemporary educators aiming to create holistic, participatory, and life-oriented learning environments.
