Im vorliegenden Kapitel wird auf einige Fragestellungen eingegangen, die mit einem der traditionellen Aufgabenbereiche der Philologie zusammenhängen, nämlich mit der Edition. Den praktischen Hintergrund der Überlegungen stellen die Arbeiten an der Ausgabe der sog. Deutschen Chronik von Böhmen, der gereimten deutschen Übersetzung der alttschechischen Dalimil-Chronik ungefähr aus der Mitte des 14. Jh.s dar. Es werden einige theoretische Fragen der Editionswissenschaft thematisiert wie auch praktische Problembereiche bei der Erstellung der gedruckten und elektronischen Edition.

The chapter deals with selected topics concerning the edition of Late Medieval German texts; the material base is represented by the so called German chronicle of Bohemia ("Di tutsch kronik von behem lant" - a rhymed German translation of the old Czech Dalimil-Chronicle from the 14th century), which is currently being edited by the author of this article. Several possible approaches are discussed ranging from the strict paleographic transliteration to the normalised edition in the form of so called Classical Middle High German - mentioning the respective advantages as well as less favourable aspects. There are also brief remarks on some technical questions regarding the mentioned edition in the conventional and digital form.
