    We hear more and more frequently about the inadequacy of formal education due to change in the values of children and adolescents influenced by IT. The involvement of libraries in the education of children should not been connected only to effective workwith IT as it is common at present, but also the other side of the coin to use IT as safe as possible. Case study presented in this paper shows one lesson of safe communication for children in the 4th to 5th class of primary school. It was based on RWCTmethods and it was subjected to evaluation research. The research contributed to the solution of practical problems and it showed possible way to change current situation by involving of libraries into education of children about information safety. Participated observation, document analysis and semi-structured interviews are parts of it; this paper is concentrated in the participated observation.
