NECS is the largest pan-European scholarly network for audiovisual media studies. The NECS conference is the largest event of this kind in Europe. There has never been such an important international conference on film in the Czech Republic. The missionof the NECS conferences is to support and disseminate new ideas in the field of cinema and other audiovisual media, and to provide space for critical discussion between researchers, students and practitioners from various countries and disciplines. The main topic of the Milan conference deals with theories and practices of creativity.
