Das Ziel der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit war es, die Wettbewerbsordnung für den Bundeswettbewerb der Deutschen Jugendfeuerwehr zu übersetzen und konkrete Zweifelsfälle im Übersetzungsprozess zu kommentieren. Darüber hinaus war es die Aufgabe, ein Glossar zu erstellen, das für verschiedene Zwecke benutzt werden kann. Dieses Glossar mit eindeutigen Definitionen und Beispielen soll die Arbeit mit derartigen Texten erleichtern.

The subject of this diploma thesis is a characteristic of technical language and translation of technical texts. The main focus of the practical part is on the commentary on my own translation of the competition rules for the federal competition of German youth fire brigade, in which the translation peculiarities and difficulties of this type of text are clarified. The important point of this part of my thesis is the glossary which was made on the basis of the source text and target text.
