Ausgehend von einer Analyse von Aristoteles Verständnis der Universalität der Vernunft aus De anima III, versuchen wir zu zeigen, dass die analogische Weite der Vernunft, die sich dem Licht spezifisch christlicher Oster- und Trinitarischer Mysterien öffnet, eine angemessene Antwort auf den reduzierend einschränkenden transhumanistischen oder tief-ökologischen Vernunftbegriff darstellt. Deshalb müssen wir diese analogia intellectus, mehr denn je, in seiner vollen metaphysischen Umfang wiederentdecken.

Based on an analysis of Aristotle's understanding of the universality of reason from De anima III, the paper attempts to demonstrate that the analogous breadth of reason, open to the light of specifically Christian Easter and Trinitarian mysteries, represents an adequate response to the reductively narrowing notion of reason, which could be found in transhumanistic and deep-ecological approach. Therefore, more than ever, we now need to restore this analogia intellectus to its full metaphysical scope.
