Dieser erweiterte Forschungsbericht stellt einerseits den aktuellen Forschungsstand zur literaturgeschichtlichen Einordnung Jakob Julius Davids dar, andererseits blickt er auf mögliche Synergien zwischen der Feldtheorie und den Digital Humanities, um ihre ge-meinsame Anwendung zur Untersuchung der Position von David im literarischen Feld der Jahrhundertwende zu erörtern.
