Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

During the rescue research, carried out in 2011 in the location of the village Držovice na Moravě, Prostějov district, the Czech Republic, a skeleton grave from Baalberg period of Funnel Beaker Culture was explored and documented. The skeleton was of a male who died around the age of 40 and whose skeletal remains showed pathological changes, most likely caused by the disease TBC (tuberculoses). This is the very first Baalberg grave in Moravia, apart from the necropolis at the top of the hill Velký Kosiř near Slatinky, Prostějov district. This grave expanded the range of the known methods of burial (in settlement area, in stretched position directly to the ground, in stone box, in stone box under the mound and cremation under the mound) to include a burial in a crouching position directly to the ground.
