Popis výsledku v původním jazyce

During a rescue research carried out in 2011 in the location of the village of Držovice na Moravě, Prostějov district, Czech Republic, an inhumation grave from the Baalberge Period of the Funnel Beaker Culture was explored and documented. The skeleton was a male who died around the age of 40and whose skeletal remains showed pathological changes, most likely caused by the TBC disease (tuberculosis). This is the very first Baalberge grave in Moravia, apart from the burial ground at the top of the Velký Kosíř hill near Slatinky, Prostějov district. This grave extended the range of the known methods of burial (in settlement area, in stretched position directly in the ground, in a stone cist, in a stone cist under a burial mound, and cremation under a burial mound) to include a burial in contracted position directly in the ground.
