In comparison with research projects conducted abroad, the average ;quality of life; value for the surveyed Czech female teachers is lower. Life aims (cues) of the surveyed female teachers are rather egocentric (personal) and the influence of their profession is minimal. Health is the most frequent (100%) life aim indicated and it is considered very important. On average, the respondents were satisfied with their health condition. If the teaching profession is chosen as one of the life aims, the respondents are satisfied with it as a rule. On average, increasing the quality of life of female respondents by satisfying their contentedness with life aims is mostly connected with the satisfaction of their personal values closely associated with their personality. In this respect we can consider the results of our research as a kind of a proof of our assumption that the cultivation and development of the personality represent a basic condition for successful performance in the teaching prof
