Le chapitre comprend une étude comparative des traductions en tcheque et en slovaque du dessin animé et de la bande dessinée Astérix chez les Bretons qui, basée sur des exemples, analyse leur caractere adéquat et équivalent. Tandis que le dessin animé traduit en tcheque est un cas d?un transfert altéré, il néglige completement le style de l?original, la version slovaque se montre meilleure. La traduction de la bande dessinée en tcheque remplit, par contre, les attentes d?un transfert adéquat et équivalent. Nous trouvons la traduction en slovaque, par rapport a celle tcheque, plutôt insipide, neutralisant des tournures expressives de l?original.

The chapter contains a comparative study of translations of the French cartoon and comics Asterix chez les Bretons in Czech and Slovak and it examines their adequacy and equivalent kind on the basis of examples. While the Czech version of cartoon presents a case of unsuccessful translation, which did not realize the style of original, the Slovak version renders it better. The Czech translation of comics again presents an adequate and equivalent transfer. In comparison with the Czech version, the Slovakis less apt, it neutralizes the expressive turns of the original.
