In der heutigen plurikulturellen und plurilingualen Gesellschaft gilt Mediation als eine nützliche bzw. erforderliche Kompetenz, die im Rahmen des Fremdsprachenunterrichts auf allen Niveaustufen entwickelt werden kann. Der vorliegende Artikel fokussiert auf Implementierung von Mediationskursen im Lehramtsstudium Deutsch als Fremdsprache an der Pädagogischen Fakultät der Masaryk-Universität in Brünn, die forschungsbasiert evaluiert und entwickelt werden. Im Folgenden werden das didaktische Konzept von zwei Mediationskursen sowie das Forschungsdesign vorgestellt, sowie die Ergebnisse aus der aktuellen Forschungsphase zusammengefasst und erläutert.

In today's pluricultural and plurilingual society, mediation is considered a useful or necessary competence that can be developed in foreign language teaching at all levels. This article focuses on the implementation of mediation courses in the teacher training programme German as a Foreign Language at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University in Brno, which are evaluated and developed on the basis of research. The didactic concept of two mediation courses and the research design are presented below, and the results from the current research phase are summarised and explained.
