Der Lehrstuhl für Fremdsprachen (das Fach Deutsch für den Beruf) an der Universität Pardubice befasst sich unter anderem mit Themen, die aus der Germanistik der Westböhmischen Universität (Pilsen) hervorgegangen sind. Wir haben es hier außerdem mit einemExodus von Wissenschaftlern und Studenten zu tun, der aber nicht von Land zu Land stattfand, sondern sich innerhalb eines Staates vollzog, nämlich in der Tschechischen Republik: zehn Jahre nach der politischen Wende. Der vorliegende Beitrag will vor allem die Ost-West-Orientierung einer modernen germanistischen Richtung - nach dem Fall des Eisernen Vorhangs - und ihre spätere West-Ost-Wanderung - unter dem Blickwinkel von Migration - sehen und hervorheben: Infolge der sich seit den achtziger Jahren vollziehenden Raumwende (spatial turn), die sich in den Kulturwissenschaften bis hin zur Geographie, Geschichtswissenschaft und Germanistik ereignet hat. The Department of Foreign Languages (the subject of study German for Business) at the University of Pardubice focuses on the issues that have emerged from the activities of German Studies at the University of West Bohemia (Pilsen). The contribution dealswith an exodus of scientists and students that does not occur from country to country, but within a state, namely within the Czech Republic ten years after the political revolution. The paper attempts to show and emphasize the east-west orientation of modern German Studies specialization after the fall of the Iron Curtain and its later transformation in the opposite west-east direction from the perspective of migration. This is all due to the spatial turn which came to pass in the sciences such as cultural science, geography, history, and German studies. The parallel is striking: spatial turn has become reality since about 1980, the first signs of reflection we can even see in autumn 1988 and then in spring 1989 (Pilsen). Since 1990 a
