En este capítulo me centraré en la potencia del amor platónicocomo mediador entre lo sensible y lo inteligible. Este sentimientodivino (θεῖον πάθος, Fedro 238c6), que transforma en filosófica el alma del hombre, se estudiará aquí como puente y salto hacia lo inteligible, en un continuo intercambio entre práctica de la sabiduríay visión metafísica. Mediante la lectura y los comentarios a algunospasajes extraídos del Fedro y del Simposio sostendré que el érōs esel componente esencial de una «metafísica y gnoseología de las relaciones» de tipo platónico porque, a través del érōs, se realiza aquellafunción de mediación que permite reconocer huellas de lo inteligibleen lo sensible. Huellas que, como el reflejo del sol en el mar, brillande belleza.

In this chapter I will focus on the power of Platonic love as a mediator between the sensible and the intelligible.as a mediator between the sensible and the intelligible. This divinedivine (θεῖον πάθος, Phaedrus 238c6), which transforms man's soul into a philosophical one, will be studied here as a bridge and leap towards the intelligible, in a continuous interchange between wisdom practiceand metaphysical vision. By reading and commenting on some passages from the Phaedrus andpassages from the Phaedrus and the Symposium I will argue that the érōs is the essential component of a "metaphysicalthe essential component of a Platonic-type "metaphysics and gnoseology of relationsof relations" of a Platonic type because, through the érōs, the function of mediationfunction of mediation which makes it possible to recognise traces of the intelligiblein the sensible. Traces that, like the reflection of the sun in the sea, shine with beauty.of beauty.
