Die Tabakfabrikarbeiterin der Zeit war zwar immer Arbeiterin im Sinne der Sozialstruktur eines gegebenen Orts, bzw. einer breiteren Region, aber durch ihre aktuelle und künftige stabile Sicherung nahm sie wesentlich bessere Stellung ein, als landwirtschaftliche Arbeiterinnen und v.a die Frauen, die in Dienstleistungen oder sogar als Dienerschaft bei Privatpersonen beschäftigt wurden.
