Parmi les fonds des Archives du Musée National de Prague se trouve une énorme collection de faire-part dont trois cartons des annonces mortuaires nobiliaire couvrant les années 1701 – 2000 et rangées par ordre alphabétique. Tant que source historique, elles ont un incontestable intérêt pour la généalogie, mais elles offrent bien des renseignements sur la communication sociale, sur les relations de parenté ou le gout contemporain.
