This paper is dedicated to the problems of the triple helix model and partnerships of technical faculties of universities in relation to the role of partnerships in a knowledge-based society. The paper aims to identify alternative forms of university partnerships in the context of the triple helix model (on the university-industry level) and to document the situation on selected examples of good practice from the point of view of technical faculties of universities in the Czech Republic.
