The turbulent and discontinuous environment influences the current development of business subjects. This development tends, not only generally but also in transport, from operational management to process management. It is the consequence of radical advance of paradigm of management (turn from industrial paradigm to information paradigm, usually known as knowledge society). The paper reminds the fact that the executive and decision-making sphere of Czech enterprises does not anticipate the progress ofworld management. Companies operate in the environment for which it is characteristic the faulted perception of development dynamics. Continual environment changes, increase of indeterminacy, risk of wrong decisions and increase of permanent competitioninterference the conditions of management style, which would be able to react on this state.
