This article is published in the framework of the research project GAČR "Transportation - logistical processes outsourcing", solved at Jan Perner Transport Faculty. Outsourcing is considered to be very useful direction in the economic point of vice either for companies that use it or for service providers. In the article the partial results of the research of the American Manager Association are presented. In connection to it, the basic benefits (contributions) and risks of outsourcing for a company aredescribed.
