The paper is focused on actual knowledge and experiences from the realization of family houses with load-carrying structures composed of steel cold-formed thin-walled sections. Within the framework of the co-operation with the realization subject the first three houses have been designed so far and two of these constructions have been realized already. The static and structural design including the works documentation have been elaborated on the workplace of the Department of Metal and Timber Structures, the production and erection of the steel load-carrying structure have been realized by the company of WHC Černý, s.r.o. In this paper, among others, some problems of the production and erection process of the load-carrying steel structure are presentedand discussed.
