This paper deals with methods of visualization of linear features in digital cartographic products based on the theory of rough sets and the degree of resolution. Presented method was designed with respect to maximal information integration into the cartographic symbol and also to individual symbol elements resolution for all possible options of displaying data (user manipulation, zoom etc.). Theoretical basis described in this paper was verified within specific research project FAST-S-15-2710 Geographic information system of Moravian Wine paths. Experimental results of this method is visualization of linear features, cycling paths, in application containing inter alia digital cartographic product created in ArcGIS 10.1.
