Companies had already at the moment of its beginning defined objectives of the company, which should be reached during its activity on the market. The main goal is usually to ensure long-term profitability of the company. Information about the profitability and factors influencing profitability are the important basis for managerial decisions of the company. The paper aims at identifying, quantifying the degree of influence of individual factors and the subsequent intercompany comparison of these factors that affect the profitability of chosen important companies.
