The aim of the paper is to show how the method of the project-based learning is being applied to the subject of business economics. With the help of this method, students of economics are involved in establishing their own fictitious businesses with the emphasis on crucial elements as part of their projects. The principal focus remains on the product development, management, marketing, finance and accounting, human resources and leadership.
