Polymers or their additives may become parts of a wide range of products. After the end of life cycle useful parts of the products are recycled but significant part becomes waste. It´s therefore desirable not only by law on chemicals and chemical products, but also according to the requirements of European directive REACH, to assess not only chemicals but also precursors of all products or products themselves in terms of their impact on the environment. For these purposes it serves ecotoxicity test, which allow prediction effects of test compounds in the environment. Via ecotoxicity tests were evaluated efects of polypropylene grafted itaconic anhydride and polypropylene grafted maleic anhydride and their additives; anhydride maleic and anhydride itaconic effects on the environment. Additives were tested in aquatic arrangement via animal and plant testing organisms. Grafted polypropylene substances are poorly water soluble and, therefore, were tested in a contact arrangement, via phyto
