Certain Aspects of Measurement of Processes and Their Application in Selected Companies in the Czech Republic

The research has been involved in the survey of conditions of the application of certain aspects of measurement of processes in selected Czech companies. Mentioned research has included 134 companies seated in the Czech Republic. Sizes and industries of involved companies vary. A questionnaire survey has been conducted to collect information. Statistics, indicating the average number of metrics applied in companies generally and in various industries, illustrate achieved results. Influence of the applied international standard ISO 9001 has been studied. Said research has identified the development of use of non-financial metrics. The results report that measurement of processes, as an important aspect of the process management, plays an important role in the Czech companies, widely used by company managements.
