Purpose of the article: The purpose of the article is to collect information and data from professional publications on the situation in the working environment between 2020 and 2021. Methodology/methods: The main method of research is systematic and critical review of literature. Scientific aim: The main scientific objective is to investigate the impact of the pandemic on the working environment, namely on work, workforce and workplaces, current changes in corporate processes, human resource management and the uptake of innovation. Findings: The Covid-19 pandemic has fatally affected many companies. There has had to be rapid progress in digital technologies, innovation in companies, strengthening trust between employee and employer (e.g. home office) and companies have a greater respect for loyal, talented and productive employees. Conclusions: Nowadays, it is essential to adapt to modern technologies and digitalization, to be able to navigate the online world, to accelerate and innovate functional c
