Influence of temperature parameters on the production of fine particle distribution during the biomass combustion
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The small combustion devices in the municipalities are significant element of the air pollution, especially in the winter season. Currently, there is increasing a choice of the alternative sources of heating and biomass combustion. However, even in these combustion processes are fine particles formed, which affects human health. The paper is focused on the issue of biomass combustion processes in the laboratory conditions, where was monitored the concentration and distribution of particles (<PM10) with using of thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (SMPS). For the determination of particle chemistry and morphology were used the method of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and EDX spectroscopy. There was a found that during the process of the start of combustion, the temperature has an influence on the fine particle formation and their concentration. The results allow define the combustion parameters, especially parameters, where the lowest fine particle concentrations are formed. The results can be used for the application of preventive measures in connection with human health protection.
