Phenological characters (beginning of main flowering, end of flowering, flower set and fruit set) were observed and compared in the collection of rowan cultivars (Moravsky sladkoplody, Nevezinskaja, Rosina, Konzentra, Finska), interspecific hybrids with genetic share of Sorbus aucuparia L. - rowan (Burka, Micurinova dezertni, Granatova) and botanical form (Sorbus aucuparia L.). The experimental plantation was established in 1992 in the northern part of the Czech Republic at the altitude of 320 m. Sorbus aucuparia L. seedling was used as a rootstock. Each cultivar was grafted at the height of 130 cm. Three trees were planted per cultivar. Evaluation was carried out in the years 2007 to 2009. The earliest time of main flowering was observed for Burka and Granatova. In contrast, the Sorbus aucuparia L. botanical form and the cultivar Konzentra displayed delayed flowering. The same results were observed in the case of the end of flowering. Burka showed the highest rank in flower and fruit set while Konzentra displayed the lowest rank. In comparison, the cultivar Moravsky sladkoplody reached average values of flower and fruit sets.
