The paper asses in the first part the position of Visegrad countries in terms of structural indicators and indexes of knowledge matrix of World Bank evaluating innovation performance, human resource quality and ICT development. The second part assesses the qualitative position of Visegrad countries in terms of proinnovation environment of their organization structures. The final part assesses the qualitative aspects of the CR position in global economic flows in terms of their knowledge intensity. The stress is put on the structural characteristics of value added, FDI, research and development and innovation activities.
