The chapter informs about the objectives and priorities of the Czech educational policy, particularly about the National Programme for the Development of Education and the Long-Term Plan of Educationa nd Development of Education System. It gives an overview of some particular directions which are set out by these strategic documents: currcular reform, reforming completion of secondary education and training, ensuring quality, monitoring and evaluation of educational outcomes, developing of itegrated information and counselling system, suuport for the development of tertiary education and development of CVET.
