The Post-Irradiation Inspection Program on TVSA-T fuel assemblies at Temelín NPP began in 2011 at Unit 1 and in 2012 at Unit 2. In 2017 the team of specialists from UJV Group is performing the seventh set of inspections on this fuel. Given paper summarizes the results after six years of operation of TVSA-T fuel at Temelín NPP including the overview of the inspection program and selected assemblies at both units. More than 100 fuel assemblies have been inspected using the Fuel Repair and Inspection Equipment since 2011. Fuel assemblies are selected to best represent the behavior of whole core. The equipment allows for visual examination of the overall condition of fuel assembly including the state of peripheral fuel rods and measurement of fuel assembly twist, bow, and growth including fuel rod growth and evaluation of gaps between peripheral rods. The measured parameters (twist, bow, and growth) of fuel assemblies follow expected trends and meet the limits ensuring the mechanical stability of fuel assemblies with sufficient margins. Also, corrosion situation of fuel assemblies generally meets the expectations.
