Research organizations, industrial companies and universities are involved in activities relating to advanced gas cooled nuclear reactors (VHTR and also GFR). Among these activities several international projects (eg. FP7- ARCHER, ALLIANCE, MATISSE) and national projects are counted. Last year two big national projects were finished. The main results of the finished projects are data of degradation of steels, nickel based alloys and ceramics in impure high temperature helium. One of these project was also subjected to technologies concerning helium systems; among others helium purification, purity control and technologies of helium recovery.
