Many words and sentences have been said about the tourism potential in border region South Morava. This paper explores the current challenges especially for businesses in the hospitality industry. According to the results of the present research and alsoon the basis of demographic studies we can conclude the offer services in the region does not match the demand and does not reflect the specific requirements of the offered services. The paper argues that the offer do not represent any major change in the structure of society. The paper progresses in three steps. Firstly it introduces specifics of the research region. In then considers is explained the main dietary requirements. In its main empirical section, the paper analyses current challenges in the region. The conclusion points to the wider implications in the hospitality industry businesses.
