Ve šlechtitelské stanici Úhřetice v roce 2016-2017 byl vyset soubor ozimých pšenic, který zahrnoval pšenice pěstované v první polovině minulého století, současné odrůdy a dvě minoritní obilniny. V pokusu byly pšenice seté registrované do roku 1950 (Chlumecká 12, Slovenská 777, Stupická bastard, Hanácká osinatá, Pyšelka a Vouska z Třemošnice), pšenice seté registrované po roce 1993 (Annie, Julie, Bohemia, Samanta, Sultan) a minoritní odrůdy typu (Triticum monococcum Rumona, Tr. spelta Rubiota). Podobný soubor byl vyset i v rámci jarních pšenic v roce 2017 a zahrnoval 3 odrůdy pšenice Triticum monococcum, 3 odrůdy Triticum dicoccum, dále Triticum spelta, Triticum turanicum (Kamut), odrůdu pšenice seté Jara a moderní odrůdy pšenice seté jarní Alicia a Registana. Ozimy byly pěstovány ve dvou intenzitách ošetření. Jarní pšenice v jedné intenzitě ošetření. U všech odrůd pšenic bylo provedeno vegetační hodnocení. U ozimých pšenic byl navíc proveden mrazový kombinovaný test. Všechny odrůdy byly v době zralosti sklizeny a zváženy (pluchaté pšenice uváděny bez pluch), následně bylo provedeno hodnocení jakosti. Z vybraných pšenic byly provedeny pekařské testy.

In 2016–2017, at the Úhřetice breeding station, a collection of winter wheat was sown, including wheat varieties cultivated in the first half of the 20th century, contemporary cultivars, and two minor cereal species. The experiment included wheat varieties registered up to 1950 (Chlumecká 12, Slovenská 777, Stupická bastard, Hanácká osinatá, Pyšelka, and Vouska from Třemošnice), varieties registered after 1993 (Annie, Julie, Bohemia, Samanta, Sultan), and minor cereal types (Triticum monococcum Rumona, Triticum spelta Rubiota). A similar collection was also sown for spring wheat in 2017, comprising 3 varieties of Triticum monococcum, 3 varieties of Triticum dicoccum, as well as Triticum spelta, Triticum turanicum (Kamut), the spring wheat variety Jara, and modern varieties Alicia and Registana. Winter wheat was grown with two levels of treatment intensity, while spring wheat was grown with one treatment intensity. Vegetative assessments were conducted on all wheat varieties. Additionally, a frost combined test was performed for the winter wheat. All varieties were harvested and weighed at maturity (hulled wheat is reported without the hull). Subsequently, quality assessments were carried out. Baking tests were performed on selected wheat samples.
