The lecture “Barriers and Challenges in Home Nursing Care of Chronically Ill Adults and Their Families”, presented at the International Scientific Conference Family-Health-Disease held in Poland, focused on identifying and analyzing key barriers and challenges in the provision of home nursing care for chronically ill adult patients. The presentation addressed organizational, staffing, social, and communication factors affecting the quality and accessibility of home care, as well as the role of families in long-term disease management. Attention was given to the burden on informal caregivers, coordination between health and social services, and the need for a multidisciplinary approach. The lecture highlighted the importance of family support, systematic education of healthcare professionals, and the development of community-based services to ensure continuity and quality of care in the home setting.
