This contribution familiarizes readers with primary school teachers' opinions concerning some selected themes of macro - managerial decisions in the educational policy of the Czech Republic after the year 1990. It is a case of selection from the field research with respect to teachers' reflection on the consequences of school policy, as seen by the regional educational system. The research probe was carried out in the years 2011 and 2012 and examined a representative sample of 72 primary schools. This contribution selectively monitors regional deviations in teachers' opinions concerning the development of the decentralization of primary schools' management and their autonomy in the last 20 years. It also examines the impacts resulting from the abolition of the unified school after the year 1990, the method employed in introducing the curricular reform etc. in relation to its efficiency.
