The work is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part, we summarize current knowledge in the field of endurance capabilities and diagnostics. We deal with theoretical concepts of classification endurance capacity according to various criteria. Detail the characteristics of selected physiological parameters, which are the diagnostic monitoring and evaluation. Whether the organism as a response to the load, or parameters that is significant in assessing the level of endurance capacity. Among these,we classify the parameters available to diagnose heart rate (HR), maximum consumption (uptake) of oxygen, anaerobic threshold and economy of movement. The theoretical basis for research in the following section we characterize the endurance capacity of children and youth. In the section devoted to the problems we bring in a comprehensive overview of the structure of the most common motor function test for the diagnosis of endurance abilities.
