This article deals with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) that supported an establishment of Business Centre. CIDA is Canadian lead agency for development assistance, it has a mandate to support sustainable development in developing countries in order to reduce poverty and to contribute to a more secure, equitable, and prosperous world. Together with Ivano-Frankivsk Region they established the Business Centre &#8222,Small Business and Economic Development for Ivano-Frankivsk&#8220, (SBEDIF). This region is one of the economically depressed area in Ukraine. In this country there are almost none small and medium enterprises and this project will should help them in the future. So they will have a chance to become the &#8222, valid European Union member&#8220,. The Economic Development Program tools are: specialists´ professional development in regional economic development, use of economic data base, resource centre and strategic economic planning.
